Uplive partners with CanYou Hear Me to bring awareness to pressing mental issues

Uplive by Asia innovations HK Ltd. has recently partnered with a non-profit organization called “Can You Hear Me?” in their drive to erase the stigma and negative affiliations of mental diseases that afflict millions of people every day.

Suicide is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the United States of America. Leading to 44,965 cases annually. On average there are about 123 suicides per day, with another 25 attempts. This is according to the 2018 poll of AFSP.


The prevalence of Mental Illness is staggering with approximately 1 in 5 adults in the US or 18.5% ( 43.8 million ) experience mental illness in a given calendar year. With 1 in 25 adults or, 9.8 million people experience a mental illness that substantially interferes with their major life activities. According to a 2017 poll by NAMI.


Uplive is one of the top mobile live streaming applications in the world with hundreds of thousands of broadcasters going live every month talking to massive live audiences. Uplive is made up of predominantly young people who care about these topics such as anti bullying, depression, anxiety etc.
